In the fall of 1970, I started doing an underground rock show on Sundays on KLOH AM & FM. The show was called Holding Together, inspired by Tony Glover's all night folk and blues show on KDWB and Beeker Street on KAAY, Little Rock.

Hopefully ken you realize how ground breaking you were. in the late 60's Rock music on SW Minn. radio was limited to 1 hour of Platter Party on KWOA , At night we could get WLS, KOMA and I too cherished the times when the weather would allow us to tune in Beaker Street from Little rock.
ReplyDeleteThen here comes Ken playing full albums on Sunday afternoons I remember when you played Santana Abraxus (SP?). Neil Young after the Gold Rush and Weird Scenes inside the gold Mine . plus you introduced us to Firesign theater.
Thank You Thank You Thank You
